...and who can blame her? When I pushed the shower curtain back and got out my bottle of bubble bath, she saw "Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar" and interpreted it as "Equate Dog Shampoo."
laura - i have a goofy question about your shower curtain. my wife and i live in an old house that has a clawfoot tub in the front bathroom, but no shower. we are wanting to put in a shower but are having difficulty finding a shower curtain rod that in circular (which i assume yours is by the picture). any ideas as to who carries such hardware?
eric, you're right, mine is circular (well, rectangular), but i have actually never seen a similar rod in stores. the closest i've seen is a D-shaped rod at home depot. but that only works if your tub is positioned against a wall because the flat side of the D is where it screws into the wall (so it would work on mine). my rectangular rod is attached to the shower head/pipe at one end and to the ceiling with a long skinny metal rod at the other end. www.clawfootsupply.com has several choices, but they are $300 (yikes). www.plumbingsupply.com has one for $117. there has to be a local store that carries them cheaper, but i'm not sure... ebay?

thanks for the heads up. those do seem a bit pricey, but at least it's a start - i knew they had to exist somewhere. thanks again.
